our mission

At Rachel Riley, we make clothing not fashion. Living a sustainable lifestyle means ‘Reduce, Re-use, Repair’. Our designs are all made with care from natural premium fabrics and are designed to be re-worn and loved by many children.

We are dedicated to creating timeless high-quality clothing that is long-lasting so they can be passed from one sibling to another or down from one generation to the next.

our craft

Rachel Riley is committed to maintaining the tradition of using artisan techniques to create the finest and most comfortable clothes for babies and children. We use traditional sewing techniques such as French seams which are hard-wearing and stronger than overlocked seams.

Our prints are designed in-house and the footwear is made by hand by local shoemakers in Rachel’s atelier in the Loire Valley in France.

our packaging

The polybags we use to protect our garments are made from bio-degradable materials.
The card and tissue paper we use is either recyclable or made from recycled materials.

Our lilac giftboxes are created to be treasured as keep-sake boxes and our hamper baskets have been designed to re-use as storage for toys in playrooms and nurseries.

our promise

We are committed to bettering the future of the children we dress today. As a business, we are consciously and continuously improving our actions towards environmental responsibility.

We also encourage you to reduce, reuse and repair and be mindful towards the future of our planet.
