Rachel Riley's Charlotte aux Fraises doll raised 100 Euros when it was auctioned during Paris Fashion Week last month. Altogether the auction sold 20 dolls and raised an impressive 4150 Euros for the Ce Ke de Bonheur organization!

Rachel has created a capsule collection of gifts especially for The National Gallery in London.
This range of products has been inspired by the rose held by Marie-Madeleine (called Manon) in the portrait Manon Balletti 1757 by artist Jean-Marc Nattier (below).
The rose was a symbol of the romance between Manon and her lover Casanova, to whom she became engaged at about the time the portrait was painted. However she married a more reputable though older suitor, the architect Jacques-François Blondel three years later.
This is the hanky Rachel designed, featuring the exclusive rose print.

Yippee - it's the Diamond Jubilee!
Feeling Jubilant at Harrods!
We are proud to announce we are now on the Childrenswear floor in Harrods!
Make sure you pop into our store in Harrods and see our gorgeous new Best of British display!
We decided to use the theme of British summertime to match our new summer photography.
We spent a long time setting up the displays to look their best for this special Jubilee weekend,
including dolly & teddy in patriotic outfits, sand castles & Union Jack flags from the original coronation in 1952!
What fun we had putting it together...
Our stores are looking very festively British too!
We are so excited here at Rachel Riley about the Jubilee weekend ahead and all of the celebrations!

Rachel Riley in the New York Times!
Last week, the New York Times style section ran an article about the rise of Designer Childrens Lines.
They interviewed Rachel about the industry and her opinions on designer brands moving into Childrenswear.
It makes a really interesting article and the way they review items against competitors gives a good insight.
We are pleased to say we faired well in their review and they were impressed with our quality & details such as french seams in our designs.
Rachel Riley donated a $100 gift certificate to ST.Thomas Moore playgroup for their annual fundraiser event.
We also offered the winner of the certificate to invite some of her friends & have a private shopping spree at Rachel Riley!
The lucky winner was Loraine O'Brien. She had about 20 close friends (many of them big fans of Rachel Riley)
who happily came along to join in the fun!
We served Champagne & h'ordeuvres, and also offered goody bags & 20% off on their purchases.
The ladies had an amazing time and we all had a great evening,
it was lovely to meet them & hope they will all come back again soon!

Pretty as a picture!
Our beautiful new photography is now displayed in gorgeous frames in all of our stores!
It was a hard process to pick our favourite pictures as there were so many to chose from!
We deliberated and all decided on which we thought were the most pretty and amusing.
The photos are all displayed on our cabinets in a way that looks like family pictures on a mantlepeice.
We all agree that this connects well with the fact that it is a family business and brings a lovely warm feel to the stores.

Trunk Show update!
Rachel is currently in America on the second half of her Trunk shows!
She has visited Helena, San Francisco & Hillsborough!
Rachel also had a meet and greet day at Bergdorf Goodman in New York (where she saw Kim Kardashian & film crew!) and met lots of her lovely customers!

Since the shoot was in Scotland we thought it would be great to use scottish models and for some of them it was their first job! Didn't they do well?!
